Hassan B — Founder & Owner, Harbor Moving LLC
Harbor Moving LLC is owner-operated — not a franchise, not a call center. Hassan quotes your job, plans your move, and holds the crew to his standard on every single job. One name is accountable for your move from start to finish: the owner's.
Too many people in Greater Boston have hired a mover they could not verify — a similar-sounding name, no license shown, and a price that changed on moving day. Hassan built Harbor Moving LLC to be the opposite of that: the full legal name, the USDOT number 4016795 printed right up front where anyone can check it, published prices in plain sight, and flat-rate packages honored as quoted.
Careful hands. Honest pricing. A crew that treats your home like their own. That is how Harbor Moving LLC earned a 5.0-star rating on Google and Yelp — one job at a time, with no shortcuts. And because word of mouth is this company's whole engine, Hassan put money behind it: anyone who sends us a completed move earns $60.
Hassan was born in Rwanda, in East Africa, and came to the United States when he was nine years old. He grew up here and graduated from Newton North High School. He learned this trade from the ground up — he started out as a mover in Watertown, at Benny's Moving & Storage, carrying boxes and learning how a move should be done right, years before he ever owned a company.
Today he is a husband and a father of three — a two-year-old son, Omar, and two daughters, three and eight. So when Harbor Moving LLC moves your family into a new home, he knows exactly what that day means, because his own family has lived it. He loves this work: helping people with care, giving quality service and excellent customer service, and making a stressful day happy. Moving your family into a new home — and doing it right — is what makes his day.
Harbor Moving LLC is a Black-owned business being built deliberately into Boston's community — serving residents, Black-owned businesses, and local partners across Greater Boston and southern New Hampshire. When you book with Harbor, you are hiring a neighbor, and your money stays local.
