Dracut wraps around Lowell's northeast side, running from the Merrimack River up to the New Hampshire line at Pelham. It is one of the valley's most residential towns: working farms that never left, lakeside streets near Lake Mascuppic, and subdivisions along Lakeview Avenue and Mammoth Road. Harbor Moving LLC runs Dracut as part of our regular Merrimack Valley route out of East Boston — full-service moves quoted from the same published price book we use everywhere.
Farm Roads, Lake Streets, and New Subdivisions
Dracut housing mixes old and new in the same mile: farmhouses and capes on the older roads, ranches and colonials in the subdivisions, and newer construction still going up on the town's east side. Longer driveways and cul-de-sacs are the local pattern, which is good news for a moving truck. Two-story homes still mean stairs, though: stairs are $45 per flight, quoted up front, and the crew plans the carry before the truck doors open.
From Collinsville to the Navy Yard
Collinsville, in western Dracut, is an old mill village on the Lowell line with tighter streets and older homes. The Navy Yard neighborhood sits along the Merrimack River — yes, that is really what it is called. The Kenwood side of town wraps toward Lake Mascuppic, and East Dracut runs out toward Methuen in the town's most rural-feeling streets. Each end of town loads a truck a little differently, and we plan for the one you are on.
Honest Pricing, From the Same Book
Dracut moves are priced from our published book, the same numbers for everyone: hourly crews at $159/hr for two movers and a truck, $199 for three movers, $249 for four, with a two-hour minimum — or set packages at $399 for a studio or 1-bedroom, $749 for a 2-3 bedroom, and $1,299 for a 4+ bedroom. Stairs are $45 per flight. Need a gap between homes? Storage starts at $125/mo, and junk removal starts at $150. Heading further — over the line to Pelham or Nashua, or down to Boston — longer moves are priced from the same book and confirmed in writing before you book.
