Westford spreads across the hills west of Lowell and Chelmsford, from the historic center on Main Street out to the old mill villages of Graniteville and Forge Village. Harbor Moving LLC runs Westford as part of our regular Merrimack Valley route out of East Boston — full-service moves quoted from the same published price book we use everywhere.
Main Street Colonials to Nabnasset Lake Homes
Westford housing is heavily single-family: colonials and capes around the Center, larger newer subdivisions off Route 110 and Boston Road, and cottages and year-round homes near Nabnasset Lake. Many Westford houses run four bedrooms and up, with finished basements and three-car garages that fill a truck faster than owners expect. Long driveways are common, so the crew measures the carry from the door to the truck before the quote is final — no surprises on move day.
Graniteville, Forge Village, and the Nashoba Side
Graniteville and Forge Village keep their mill-village bones: tighter streets, older homes, and some narrow staircases that need patient carrying. The northwest corner of town runs up toward Nashoba Valley and the Groton line, where the roads turn rural and the lots get big. I-495 cuts through the middle of town with an exit at Boston Road, which makes Westford an easy run to Route 3, Lowell, and the rest of the Merrimack Valley.
Honest Pricing, From the Same Book
Westford moves are priced from our published book, the same numbers for everyone: hourly crews at $159/hr for two movers and a truck, $199 for three movers, $249 for four, with a two-hour minimum — or set packages at $399 for a studio or 1-bedroom, $749 for a 2-3 bedroom, and $1,299 for a 4+ bedroom. For the larger homes common in Westford, the $1,299 4+ bedroom package with a four-mover crew is usually the right frame, and full packing can be added so the kitchen, closets, and fragile pieces are handled start to finish. Stairs are $45 per flight. Need a gap between homes? Storage starts at $125/mo, and junk removal starts at $150. Heading further — down Route 3 to Boston or up to Nashua — longer moves are priced from the same book and confirmed in writing before you book.
